DAUNTLESS Rejoined By Vocalist

Vocalist Ari Nieminen has rejoined the Finnish death/thrash metal band DAUNTLESS. He says in a statement, "When I decided to leave DAUNTLESS, I thought it was the best decision at the moment. But when I had time to think it over, I felt like, Oh fuck, this was totally wrong thing to do.' I told guys about it and they asked me to come back, because there were some disagreements with [Ari's temporary replacement] Micko [Hell; DENIGRATE, MILLION DOLLAR BEGGARS].

"The break I had was a best thing for me and thus I realized that this is what I want and these are the guys I wanna rock with — forever!

"Sometimes you just have to take some time off to really know what you really
want.

So the rest is history... but for all you fans out there, I'm so fucking proud and excited about this and I really, really hope that this will be pleasant thing for you and all the people who still keep up hanging with us."

"Pois Alta!", the latest video from DAUNTLESS, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Toni Salminen, who previously helmed the PROFANE OMEN video for the track "Inherit The Void".

"Pois Alta!" comes off DAUNTLESS's second album, "Death Row Poet", which was released last year. The CD was recorded between September and December 2008 at Drop Hammer Studios and various other locations by Santeri Salmi, Matias Helle and DAUNTLESS.

Formed in 1991, DAUNTLESS is a veteran of the Finnish death metal scene. The band is known as raging live act and its debut album, "Execute the Fact" (Firebox Records, 2007),was highly acclaimed by the media and the fans.
